Single Stroke Art Project

This Friends to Mankind project aims to awaken the creative brain in you and was born out of a vision to help children and adults tap into their creative side. The beauty of the project rests on the simplicity of how a line can be transformed into an object of beauty. For every child, woman and man that has every uttered the words “I can’t draw”, this book serves as bridge to help you unleash your inner artist.

As part of our pledge to do what we can from where we are, Friends to Mankind would like to raise funds from the Prince of Persia Charity event, to donate 300 Single Stroke Art Books (inclusive of a how-to CD) to the children of welfare homes so that they can learn the joys of drawing.

 

Corporate Engagement Programmes

Transforming corporations and embedding Friends to Mankind into its business ethics and corporate culture is the focus of this Project. As movers and shakers of the economy, corporations can become a ‘humanity friendly’ business environment, developing people who are creative thinkers who are personally accountable and responsible for their actions. Corporations can initiate a project, adopt an FtoM project or fund a project worldwide.

The very fibre of business operations externally and the way internal management system functions, will both be in consideration of humanity. FtoM invites every corporation to live out the basic principle, ‘Let your success be the success of humanity at large’. In making profits, their commitment to caring for the outcome of their business activity and their role in creating room for more people to succeed and flower will be embedded through various corporate programmes.

 

Give Children A Voice

This Project is in partnership with UNICEF. Awakening Self-Expression in Children is the first initiative under this Project. FtoM will be using art to serve a creative outlet for children to express themselves. We also work with international child development related organisations in creating avenues for children’s voices to be heard. Children are given outlets of expression to say what they observe, what they feel and what they think.

This information will allow parents, teachers, individuals, child organisations, societies and the general public to be aware of what the future generation actually want. This will help us formulate new curriculums and education systems that will be effective towards the creation of a more supportive system which can help bring out the best in every child.

 

Arts, Culture & Entertainment

Music has a voice of its own. FtoM will work with the local Ministries of Tourism and Culture, international bodies, local and international artistes in an effort to bring together the East and the West, towards a unified world. The consciousness of humanity living in celebration and abundance will be the core messages. Music exchange programmes, workshops, concerts and discovery of new talents are also part of the initiative.

Live Your Choice Radio (LYCR) will be our very first project under this initiative. This is FtoM's internet-based 24-hour radio station which will serve as our mouth piece to the world. LYCR will also help to create awareness and drive participation for FtoM's projects and programmes.

 

Developing Women Entrepreneurs

A milestone project for Malaysian women with particular emphasis on those living in semi-urban or rural areas, to be empowered and financially independent through the development of business opportunities in their own community or district. This project is initiated by Zazen Health Solutions Sdn. Bhd., an FtoM corporation.

Through a series of enabling and development programmes, woman are able to start-up their own business, a step towards their financial independence. Activities include, nationwide workshops and forums.

 

Health Education Programmes

A team of researchers and experts will be uncovering the latest medical and health technologies and solutions; and make them available to all through various channels.

 

International Day of Peace 2010

This is a project initiated by United Nations and executed by the World Veterans Federation with local bodies internationally. FtoM will be participating in the global consciousness for Peace.
