HACK IT Series 3
Living Your Beauty

Hack It Series

“One of the most courageous things you can do is identify yourself, know who you are, what you believe in and where you want to go.” – Sheila Murray Bethel

Teenage girls today are bombarded by the many influences from media, peers and their environment which seem to define how one should be, from the way one should look, think, behave, what defines success, what should be valued, etc. All these inputs and conditionings unknowingly have become the founding principles that shape what girls eventually grow up and become today. In this cloud of influences, girls are not necessarily equipped to examine which of these inputs are right for her and would allow her to grow and live her beauty out.

The HACK IT Series 3 - Living Your Beauty Workshop aims to share this essential awareness of how one can deliberately participate in designing the person they choose to be and the life they choose to live out. This is one the most fundamental life skills all girls should acquire. This essential skill restores back the power for every girl to have the ability to shape herself consciously and to have the strength not to be affected or shaped by the influences that surround her.

The workshop will share this essential awareness and importance by giving participants the skill, framework and tools to use to deliberately shape who they want to be. The knowledge, strength and skills to live it will also be shared with live examples in an experiential learning environment.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
-----------------------------------

Hack-it Series III offers the opportunity for teenage girls to spend a day focusing on the vision they see of themselves and acquiring the clarity of how to actualise it. The facilitation process with industry experts exposes an intimate learning setup, with fun, games and debriefs. It aims to:

*Share the awareness of living consciously and the ability to discriminate.

*Awaken the awareness of the every day dangers in the world that one needs to be aware of. *Expose girls to role models who have shaped who they are and continue to do so.

*Create an environment where girls come to see their own beauty and what they offer to the world.

BECOME A FRIEND TO MANKIND

Mission Statement:

Friends to Mankind (FtoM) is an international non-profit organisation that works with individuals, corporations and philanthropic organizations towards the betterment of humanity. Focusing on finding creative ways to raise funds and awareness for other like minded non profits that fit the Friends To Mankind ethos, we are building a family of people saying "Yes, I am a Friend to Mankind" and we are doing what we can, where we are.

Currently we are building a database of "Friends" that we will use to map out our new community across the world. By the end of 2013 we hope to have over 1,000,000 friends worldwide, and ask you to join us. Our goal is to build a global, user-friendly database allowing people across the world to easily click a location that they either live in, or traveling to, and find out how they can help.

Whether locally or abroad, a single click will put generous people in touch with organizations that need them. From local schools that need text books, or old electronics, to helping a Southeast Asian village provide shelter for victims of sex-trafficking, it will never have been easier to make a difference.  Sign up today and become part of our "Friends to Mankind" family, and do what you can where you are.
