Hack It Series

WHY PROJECT MANAGEMENT?
----------------------------------------------

In so many areas of our lives, we use project management without even realising we are. Whether it's a simple spring cleaning activity or completing an assignment, building a bridge or producing a movie or launching a spacecraft, they are all projects and to do them we would need to sit down and work out the whole mathematics of initiating, planning, executing and delivery, which is what Project Management is all about.

Project management is used elaborately all over the world to run projects in every shape and form. Event organisers, entrepreneurs, product developers, marketing agencies, IT firms, and all sorts of businesses of various sizes and nature swear by Project management for their successes.

Known as an art and a science at the same time, good project management always needs highly creative and technically skilled Project Managers. With project management emerging as one of the fastest-growing fields in the country, early exposure on this field this is definitely a MUST for the coming generation.

BECOME A FRIEND TO MANKIND

Mission Statement:

Friends to Mankind (FtoM) is an international non-profit organisation that works with individuals, corporations and philanthropic organizations towards the betterment of humanity. Focusing on finding creative ways to raise funds and awareness for other like minded non profits that fit the Friends To Mankind ethos, we are building a family of people saying "Yes, I am a Friend to Mankind" and we are doing what we can, where we are.

Currently we are building a database of "Friends" that we will use to map out our new community across the world. By the end of 2013 we hope to have over 1,000,000 friends worldwide, and ask you to join us. Our goal is to build a global, user-friendly database allowing people across the world to easily click a location that they either live in, or traveling to, and find out how they can help.

Whether locally or abroad, a single click will put generous people in touch with organizations that need them. From local schools that need text books, or old electronics, to helping a Southeast Asian village provide shelter for victims of sex-trafficking, it will never have been easier to make a difference.  Sign up today and become part of our "Friends to Mankind" family, and do what you can where you are.
